Our Story

Lifetime Dock & Lumber, Inc. was started 19 years ago and is now the Florida Keys Authority on Boat Lifts and Docks. We are located on Summerland Key on the ocean side of US1 where we house our fleet of 9 trucks, our barge and a fabrication shop. We are totally invested for the long term in the Florida Keys Community with 660 lineal feet of concrete dock space on the canal, 3 buildings, 6 boat lifts, plenty of room to store pilings and inventory and to load our barge. We also carry accessory items in our showroom.

Our experienced service and installation crews work from Key Largo to Key West. We sell and install boat lifts, build docks and we provide service and repair for boat lifts, davits and docks. We have a dedicated service truck that goes out every day. We believe you should service what you sell.

At Lifetime Dock & Lumber, Inc. we have developed the Lifetime Boat Lift (LBL). The LBL lift is a superior design which was developed after years of experience installing and servicing many other boat lifts. It is available only in the Florida Keys, because we will not sell a lift unless our own service crew installs it. This allows us to control the quality of the installation and to perform regular service inspections to guarantee trouble free operation.

A State of Florida Certified Licensed Building Contractor (CBC 051193), Lifetime Dock & Lumber, Inc. will take your project from concept to completion. This allows our customers to have one point of contact for planning, permitting and completing any job. We remove the stress of working with government agencies and of coordinating the actual work.

Lifetime Dock & Lumber, Inc. is fully insured to remove liability from our customers for accident or injury on the job. We carry general liability insurance as well as workers compensation insurance. In addition, as a marine contractor we also carry the required Federal USL&H (Longshore & Harbor Workers Comp) coverage as well as Federal Jones Act insurance which is required for barge work.

We are proud members of both the Florida Marine Contractors Association (FMCA) and the Florida Keys Contractors Association (FKCA). The FMCA is a non-profit state organization dedicated to enhancing the business environment with highly qualified and properly credentialed general and marine contractor members. The FKCA is a professional trade association whose members offer the highest degree of professionalism and service in the Florida Keys.
