- Winches: The electric davits are powered by the DE300 (3000
lb cap) direct-drive winch or the DE40 (4000 lb. cap.) model.
The winches are fully enclosed for protection from the elements
and because each winch is gear driven versus belt-driven you
will enjoy smooth, quiet operation without the worry of slippage
or belt replacement.
- Quality Design: The rugged box beam design provides lateral
as well as vertical strength.
- Long Life: The davits are manufactured from steel then hot-dipped
galvanized for a long life. Only the finest components and rust
resistant alloy fittings are used.

Specifications:
- To determine total lift capacity per pair of boat davits,
multiply the davit rating x 2. For example, a pair of 5500#
davits has total capacity of 11000#.
- To determine proper davit size, use weight distribution
formula: 70% stern weight to 30% bow weight. For example,
7200# boat should be lifted with pair of 5500# davits (70%
x 7200# = 5040# stern weight.
- Concrete base pads should be 2’ center-to-center
further apart than overall length of boat for maximum ease
of operation and proper inboarding clearance.
- Concrete base anchor bolt pattern is 21 3/4” center-to-center
to each corner bolt.
- Motors 3/4 HP, 1725 RPM, capacitor start, 115V @ 11.2
amps/230V @ 5.6 amps, with safety GFCI.
- Optional extended boom reach available on 5500# davits;
for every 1’ extension reduce lift capacity by 1000#
per boom.
- Optional base risers increase height by 10” (measures
10” x 24” x 24”).
- Optional base extenders will extend davit 1’ in
any direction (measures 10” x 24” x 36”).
- Optional pile-mount base available for 500-2000# davits.
